Get to Know Barber Dean Matthews

I've been a licensed barber in the state of Virginia for over 25 years and have cut all types of styles and ethnic groups.  I am fortunate to have two careers while working at a local facility during the day then making a short trip to the barber shop to serve my hair customers.  As a business owner, serving the community where I live brings joy to my heart and puts a smile on my customer's face who travel near and far just to get one of my specialized cuts.

I received the prestigious designation of "Master Barber" several years ago from the Virginia Department of Professional and Occupational Regulation (DPOR) and I'm very proud of this accomplishment.
